A: NMRV is a pure worm gearbox using aluminum housing (mostly). It is cheaper, lighter, and suitable for light-duty applications. S Series is a Helical-Worm gearbox with cast iron housing, designed for heavier loads and higher efficiency.
Q: What is the delivery time for the NMRV worm gearbox?
A: For standard ratios and motors, we have stock and can ship within 7 days. For customized product, it takes about 15-25 days.
Q: What material do you use for the worm wheel?
A: We have high-quality Tin Bronze (10-1) for maximum durability and low noise. However, for cost-sensitive projects, we can also provide Aluminum Bronze(9-4) upon request.
Q: Why does the worm gearbox get hot?
A: It is normal for worm gears to generate heat due to friction. We can use high-quality bronze wheels to minimize friction. Please ensure the operating temperature stays under 80°C.
